TÜV SÜD has awarded international certification for information security management systems (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001 to Freiburg’s IT structure security management and affirms that the IT environment meets key security objectives: confidentiality, integrity and availability of research data for Machine Room II.
The certification was initiated and funded by the project of Rolf Backofen and Björn Grüning within the German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure (de.NBI)
